More media lies…

Ok I guess I’ll cut The Sun a little bit of slack, since their game is tabloid to begin with.  But characterizing Sheyla Hershey as a “housewife” is a bit out of line.  No “housewife” would ever do this to herself.  It’s just impractical.  She is a performer, and is apparently trying to enhance her visibility in that arena.

Wine Bar Pano #2

An update of the kybecca wine bar space panos, second in a series.  The arch was discovered after taking down wallcoverings.  It looks like it will be a nice passageway between the wine bar and the retail shop.

Wine Bar Pano

This is a 360-degree “virtual tour” panoramic photo of a local space which is in the process of becoming a wine bar. Hopefully I will be able to capture more images as progress is made. If you are interested in virtual tour photos of your space, feel free to contact me. Click and drag within the image to navigate within the panorama..  CTRL=zoom out, SHIFT=zoom in (Quicktime and JavaScript required). The original file, when not embedded as this one is, allows you to zoom in and out for a richer panoramic experience. Right-click here to download it.

Halloween is coming…

Love is a Battlefield

Eve started her first day of work in nearly ten years today.  While she adapted to working again, I took the girls to the Chancellorsville Battlefield.  We followed a trail which indicated it was a 3.6 mile loop, ending up near the historic Chancellor house.  Chancellorsville was one of the most important battles in the Civil War.  It’s where Stonewall Jackson lost his left arm, and Robert E. Lee lost his right arm (Jackson).  Took a few cannon pictures, a few of the girls hiking, then headed home.  They were exhausted.  Now I’m watching the Skins game before going to pick up the lady from her new job.

CWPT is sponsoring a photo competition.  I think the prize is around $250.  Six categories revolving primarily around endangered Civil War battlefields, because, well, that’s what they do.  CWPT is the Civil War Preservation Trust, and in my day job they are a client of ours.

Travelling Light Sculptures

I shot this series while riding back from Ocracoke Island, NC last night. All of them were 25sec exposures, stopped down two full stops, I believe. There was no manipulation of these photos other than adjusting levels and cropping for interesting content.
